Johnny and Tracy Bowers became a part of the Sunbrook family in June of 2005. After researching the many opportunities available to them in the child care industry, they set their sights on Sunbrook. They wanted to make a difference in the world and what a better way than to teach and prepare children for their futures! The Bowers were impressed with all that Sunbrook had to offer them as owners, such as advanced and forward thinking in the child care industry, the Sunbrook school design, developmentally appropriate curriculum and general policies and procedures. So it was here at Sunbrook Academy that all of their hopes and dreams became a reality!

Johnny was born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama and moved to Atlanta in 1991. He worked as a National Account and Sales Manager in the aluminum industry for over 20 years in Alabama, Tennessee and Texas. Johnny earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business from Jacksonville State University. He has traveled all over the country meeting new clients and ensuring customer service. Although this industry was very exciting and rewarding for him, it began to interfere with his family time and quality of life. Therefore, it was then that he and his wife, Tracy, began to explore other options.

Tracy is a native of Georgia. Being born and raised in Dunwoody, she comes to Sunbrook Academy with a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Science form Georgia State University. Tracy has been with The Worthing Companies since 1989 where she has held many positions within the company. She has overseen the management team for over 16 years and was recently promoted to the Development Division. Although Tracy is currently employed, she and her husband work together as a team to make their Sunbrook Academy the very best place to be! 

 Johnny and Tracy enjoy spending quality time with their children; Natalie and Annie, their dog Cody, traveling and working with a dynamic group of individuals! Their philosophy on child care is that children are the key to our future. A child’s positive experience from 6 weeks to 5 years of age in their Sunbrook Academy prepares them for their future elementary school years. The loving and caring environment mixed with a well balanced curriculum is the combination needed for the positive start that every parent wants for their child.
